DESIGN & REVERSE ENGINEERING 
PGT Ceewrite has its Design Centre of Excellence at PGT Worcester, which supports the PGT Mitcham and PGT Portland manufacturing centres. Designing is done on Dual Xeon CAD workstations using Unigraphics NX8, Solidworks and Cadkey. The PGT team is highly experienced in both design and reverse engineering with .stl , using either white light or laser scanning to create full CAD models, even where initial CAD information may be very limited or non-existent.
Concurrent engineering is also extensively carried out by the Technical Sales and Design Team, which uses its in-house engineering skills and knowledge of both investment casting and ceramic core processes.
