Superfinishing

With an ever-increasing need for micro-tolerances and increased life of metallic parts, we have developed a specific superfinishing department at PGT Ceewrite. Utilising through-feed, plunge and wheel techniques we have the capability to increase part life, giving much improved sealing properties, and through match grinding decreases the wear on rotary parts. Superfinishing also eliminated the need for a break-in period, therefore increasing the efficiency of new equipment.

• Transmission components
• Fuel injector components
• Camshaft lobes
• Hydraulic cylinder rods
